Well a New Year is upon us ... three years since the world was supposed to end, and possibly a year after that too. But as Kurt Vonegut so aptly noticed God doesn't really seem to be following our Numerology the disasters may yet strike.
On the other hand if however, we have averted the Y2K and put off daemons to sleep until year 9999 (Y10K?) successfully, do any of us feel sufficiently comforted in this assumption?
What's worse? the death or the journey to it? And what of those who cling to life with all their might, is it positive thinking or is it fooling ourselves?
Mysteries remains mystifying. Far from being answered, most questions actually remain unasked. Perhaps questions are more important than the answers. Answer are the death of questions. The wonderous child eyes who sits in her father's lap at the innocent age full of questions, dies with every answer. We devour answers without thought with hunger always yerning and searching for that which fills our nostrels with the reaking odor of knowledge making us forget the scent of flowers and grass on our fingers mixed with the smell of mom's cooking apron that filled our senses with joy and left the mind free to relish in them unburdened with knowing.
I wish you all a happy and innocent life for this and all days to come,
Ahmed.
